I forgot my MoviePass card at home. What should I do?

    I know theaters near me accept etickets however, I can't seem to use the feature. I keep getting the message saying that i should request a card.

    Same issue here and no one at support seems to care either.  The chat feature in the app doesn't work.  Stayed in chat for over 10 minutes and no representative ever entered chat.  I've been billed for service I can't use because e-tickets aren't available to me in NYC for some odd reason.  

    When I signed up, the agreement stated that I would not be billed until I received my card, but the day after I signed up, a charge hit my card.  Then I received an email from MoviePass telling me that "due to high demand" it would take them almost a month to issue me a card.  

    So I am supposed to pay for a month's worth of service that I can't use because MoviePass screwed up?  That's not my fault or the fault of any other customer.  Don't charge people until you can provide the service you've guaranteed.  

    No one at Customer Support has responded to my emails so far.  If I don't hear back from them by the end of the day, I will be contacting my credit card company to reverse charges and cancelling my account.  

    Great concept. Poor execution.

    I recently signed up and MoviePass was happy to take my $10.00, but the card (which is required at all the theaters near me) do not offer E-ticketing. A few days later I got an email saying due to an overwhelming response from new customers my card shipment was being delayed. So I asked that they credit me a free month since I basically won't be able to use it the first month since I won't have a card. I've yet to get a response from anyone. This is a great concept if they had the proper support team in place.

    Jeffrey Lee - Your first month doesn't start until you activate your card.  You will not be billed again until that happens.

    Joshua Meadows - E-ticketing is only for those theaters that allow you to purchase their tickets through the MoviePass app, which are very few. The MoviePass team has spent the past few weeks getting their website and app back up and running. They literally went from 20,000 subscribers to over 150,000 overnight, and it just keeps growing. Now that the website and app are running smoothly again, they are slowly but surely turning their attention back to customer's questions and concerns.  Just today they have the Live Chat feature back up and running on the website.

    No the next billing date is shown in app as 9-28-2017 , even though we have not received any response or communication about the card.

    Madhu - Like many others I'm still waiting on my card, but the app doesn't indicate another billing date because I haven't activated my card yet.  If you find that you were billed twice before receiving your card, then definitely contact customer support.

    dgekstrom- First, thank you for your reply. No one likes feeling like they're being ignored and I appreciate your response to my question/concern. Are cards sent automatically when we sign up? The app seems to have a spot where we have to Request it. So it's a little confusing. I know some theaters offer E-ticketing, but regardless if a card is required at most theaters it should be automatically sent out. If it's not this simply delays each customers opportunity to use the service and creates a poor customer experience (leading to cancelations).

    J Lee- within their app and website it does state your first month doesn't start until you activate your card. The cards are auto shipped. It does say 5-7 business days, but because so many people recently signed up they are swamped. It took 10 days for me to get my card, which I will use for the first time tonight.

    Hi I was one of the ones that signed up the day advertised. My card was charge the same day Wednesday, August 16th I have not received my card and it is now 9/3/2017. In your email you stated that the ones that signed up early would receive their card before 9/6/2017. I hope that happens I also was under impression that we were offer the first month free. How is that possible when you charge the card immediately. If we don't receive our cards after the deadline who should we contact?

    You get charged for the subscription on sign-up, but the clock on your first month doesn't start until you "check in" for you first movie. I waited 10 days to get my card even though at signup it said the card would come in 5-7 business days. I watched my first movie tonight, and once I "checked in" for my movie, the MoviePass app said my card was activated.

    I signed up & was charged on August 23. I still haven't gotten my cards and if I try to use e-ticketing, it says I have to enter the last four of my card number. I emailed support, but nothing's happened.

    The cards are on backorder because so many people signed up recently. You can see the last few numbers and expiration of your card, in the app under the option that says "MoviePass Cards."

    @Michael - mine just says 'shipped' with an expiration date.

    Sorry. When I ordered my service, I was able to see the card details in the app shortly after I registered. You probably haven't been issued a card number because of the surge of subscribers. My friend got a notification saying he wouldn't get his card for three weeks; he signed up three days ago. Also your first month doesn't start until you activate the card when buying your first movie ticket. You won't be charged again until you have completed your first month.

    I received my card and the app is working for me, however, when i try to check in and select a movie, it makes me input the last 4 digits of my card. When i type it in, i get an error message saying that the numbers do not match. So i am still unable to use this -___-
